Ten of the twelve have a row in the official Pokemon Card Game database, which gives their numbers, rarities, illustrators and release dates. Two, Glaceon VMAX and Mew VMAX, have no row there as of October 5, 2026, so they appear only under the label SNKRDUNK gives their listings. A note on terms before the list: “full art” describes the artwork treatment, not a single rarity. The printed Japanese labels underneath that umbrella vary by era — SR, SAR, AR and MA appear below — and we flag which label sits on which card.

What Counts as a Full Art Pokemon Card
As our full art Pokemon cards guide lays out, “a Full Art card is one where the illustration and holofoil extend across the entire card face.” The official products list gives 2010-12-17 as the release date of Japan’s Black Collection and White Collection. Critically, “‘Full Art’ is a visual category… not a rarity itself.” The printed Japanese labels that carry full art artwork include SR, SAR, AR, CHR, CSR and UR, and historically “the Japanese rarity label for Full Art cards was SR.”
The picks below carry these labels, plus one tier we define only by its letters:
- SR — the label on the full art V, GX and Supporter picks below, from both the Sun & Moon and Sword & Shield eras, each numbered above the set’s printed total (Lillie is 066/060).
- HR — a rarity label in the official card-search filter. The two VMAX picks below, Glaceon VMAX and Mew VMAX, carry HR only as a SNKRDUNK listing label — see our HR rainbow rare guide for how the tier works.
- SAR — Special Art Rare, introduced with S12a VSTAR Universe (2022-12-02), per the official S12a page. The SAR picks below are three ex Pokemon and one Supporter.
- AR — Art Rare, introduced in the same S12a announcement. The AR pick below is a non-ex Pikachu.

You’ll also see “SA” used a lot in collector conversation — including in SNKRDUNK listing names such as “SR: SA” and “HR: SA”. 2. Glaceon VMAX — S6a Eevee Heroes 091/069 (listed as HR)
Same set as Umbreon V above. SNKRDUNK lists this card as “Glaceon VMAX HR: SA [S6a 091/069]”; the official card database has no row for 091/069 as of October 5, 2026 (its S6a list stops at 087), so the number and the HR label come from the listing, not from an official page. S6a was released 2021-05-28. The lowest SNKRDUNK ask on October 5, 2026 is ¥79,900 (~$519) raw and ¥105,000 (~$682) for a PSA 10. It is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥101,935 (~$662). 3. Mew VMAX — S8 Fusion Arts 119/100 (listed as HR)
SNKRDUNK lists this card as “Mew VMAX HR: SA [S8 119/100]”. As with Glaceon VMAX, the number and label are the listing’s, not an official page’s. The set, Fusion Arts, was released 2021-09-24. The lowest SNKRDUNK ask on October 5, 2026 is ¥110,000 (~$714) raw and ¥200,000 (~$1,299) for a PSA 10. It is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥192,740 (~$1,252).
4. Pikachu & Zekrom GX — SM9 Tag Bolt 101/095 (SR)
A two-Pokemon GX full art, printed SR, illustrated by kawayoo, released 2018-12-07. The same set also has a 100/095 SR by 5ban Graphics, offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥57,120 (~$371), so check the number before you buy. A full art Supporter rather than a Pokemon card, printed SR, illustrated by Megumi Mizutani, released 2016-12-09 — the earliest release date of the twelve. It also carries the highest PSA 10 price of the twelve: a physical PSA 10 is listed at ¥1,414,000 (~$9,182), and the same card is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥1,133,565 (~$7,361). By raw ask as of October 5, 2026, Lillie (¥125,000), Mew VMAX (¥110,000) and Pikachu & Zekrom GX (¥105,000) sit at the top of the twelve; by PSA 10 ask, Lillie (¥1,079,900), Pikachu & Zekrom GX (¥650,000) and Reshiram & Charizard GX (¥278,000) lead. The gap between the raw and PSA 10 columns is widest on the Sun & Moon-era SR cards, where the PSA 10 ask runs five to nearly nine times the raw ask. A raw ask is the lowest across all conditions, so it says little about a card in top condition.
The spread is wide on purpose — a full art doesn’t have to be expensive to be a genuine full art. The MA-tier Mega Lucario ex and the AR-tier Pikachu both show the full-bleed treatment at a fraction of the SR-era prices above them.

What’s the difference between SAR and AR?

Are Japanese full art cards different from English ones?
Japanese sets carry their own set codes, collection numbers and rarity labels, and English releases can use different names and numbering. Why do two picks have no official database row?
Glaceon VMAX 091/069 and Mew VMAX 119/100 are listed on SNKRDUNK, but the official Japanese card database shows no row for either number as of October 5, 2026. Its S6a list stops at 087 and its S8 list at 115. The database does not list every older card, so we cite only the listing label for them.
What does “ask” mean in the price table?
An ask is the lowest price a seller is currently asking for a listing on SNKRDUNK, not a price a buyer has paid. The table is dated October 5, 2026 and shows the raw ask and the PSA 10 ask. Mega Lucario ex’s raw figure sits at the site’s ¥1,000 floor, so it is not a market price.
