Pokemon Card 151 (SV2a) is listed on our site as a Sealed box and a separate Damaged Box. The Sealed product page also carries a “No Shrink” option, and the store lists a separate “No Shrink” Damaged Box for this set too. At the time of this update both No Shrink listings are sold out, which leaves the Sealed box and the plain Damaged Box as the two buyable boxes, and this guide compares them directly.
The sections below explain what each listing name means, quote the wording our Damaged Box page uses, set the two boxes side by side with current prices, describe what the box contains, and list which SV2a singles we carry as graded PSA 10 examples.
Since early October 2026 the store lists one Damaged Box per set, and the store prices below are as of October 7, 2026. Set contents, card numbers and marketplace asks keep the original dates given in the text.
As of October 7, 2026, Sealed is listed at ¥44,961 (~$292), and the standalone Damaged Box is listed at ¥44,041 (~$286), a difference of ¥920. The No Shrink option on the Sealed product page and the separate No Shrink Damaged Box are both sold out at the time of this update — sourcing requests go through Quick Order.
Store prices and stock status checked October 7, 2026. Marketplace observations retain their stated dates.

What Each Listing Name Means
“Sealed” and “No Shrink” sit as two variations on the same product page. Per our site-wide No Shrink guide: “On our product listing, ‘No Shrink’ identifies one thing: the box is sold without its outer shrink-wrap film. That is the entire distinction as it appears on the page.” The same guide is explicit about the limits of that claim: “It doesn’t describe any condition of the cardboard itself, the pack count, or the box’s contents.”
A Damaged Box is a separate product with its own page and its own price. It is not an option of the Sealed box. Since early October 2026 the store lists one Damaged Box per set, and for SV2a there is a Damaged Box and a separate No Shrink Damaged Box. Each Damaged Box page opens with the heading “Damaged Box — Discounted Item” and explains the discount this way: “It is discounted because of cosmetic damage to the outer box (e.g., dents or scratches). The cards inside are unaffected.”
The page is clear that the photographs are samples: “Photos are samples. The first image shows the regular product so you can identify the set. The condition photos that follow are sample photos of damaged boxes from the same stock and show the typical level of damage. The actual item you receive may differ from the photos.” It describes the damage in general terms: “Damaged boxes have dents, creases, scuffs, or other cosmetic damage to the outer box. The type and extent of damage vary by item. Photos are samples.”
The terms of sale close the description: “This item is sold as-is. We do not respond to inquiries about this item, and returns and refunds are not accepted.” The Quick Order DAMAGED BOX tab on our home page carries the same message: “Damaged boxes have dents, creases, scuffs, or other cosmetic damage to the outer box.” / “The type and extent of damage vary by item. Photos are samples.” / “Sold as-is: no returns or refunds.”

Sealed vs Damaged Box, Side by Side
| Listing | What the page says | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Sealed | Standard box listing | ¥44,961 (~$292) |
| No Shrink | Sold without the outer shrink-wrap film; option on the Sealed page | Sold out at the time of this update |
| Damaged Box | Discounted because of cosmetic damage to the outer box; cards inside unaffected | ¥44,041 (~$286) |
| No Shrink Damaged Box | Separate Damaged Box listing with the No Shrink label | Sold out at the time of this update |
The plain Damaged Box listing is priced below Sealed here: ¥44,041 (~$286) against ¥44,961 (~$292), a difference of ¥920. The two No Shrink listings are sold out at the time of this update — sourcing requests go through Quick Order.
The size of that gap is specific to this set and this date. A Damaged Box is a separate product with a separate price, and the gap between a Sealed box and its Damaged Box is not a fixed amount from set to set, so compare the two product pages for the set you are buying instead of assuming a standard discount. For condition, the Damaged Box page gives the quoted wording above and nothing more specific.
How to Choose Between the Two
The Sealed box and the Damaged Box differ in the condition of the outer box and in the terms of sale. The set, the pack format and the card pool are the same, so the decision comes down to a few questions.
Does the outer box matter to you? The Damaged Box is discounted because of cosmetic damage to the outer box, such as dents or scratches, and the page states that the cards inside are unaffected. The page also says the type and extent of damage vary by item and that photos are samples, so you cannot choose a specific box or a specific kind of damage. If you want a standard outer box, the Sealed listing is the one without a damage note.
Can you accept the terms? The Damaged Box is sold as-is. We do not respond to inquiries about it, and returns and refunds are not accepted. If those terms do not work for your order, the Sealed listing is the alternative, and its product page sets out its own terms.
Does the shrink-wrap question matter? The No Shrink label means the box is sold without its outer shrink-wrap film and nothing else, according to the No Shrink guide quoted above. Both No Shrink listings for SV2a, the option on the Sealed page and the separate No Shrink Damaged Box, are sold out at the time of this update, so the choice today is between the Sealed box at ¥44,961 (~$292) and the Damaged Box at ¥44,041 (~$286).
What is the price gap worth to you? A buyer who is comfortable with the as-is terms can take the lower price; a buyer who wants a box with no damage note and no as-is notice can take the Sealed listing.
If you are placing a larger order, remember that each product keeps its own page, price and terms, so a Sealed box and a Damaged Box can sit in one checkout. Our home page says: “This site is for B2B TCG buyers. Listed prices are wholesale prices. Orders can be placed from one item.”
What’s Inside a Pokemon 151 Box
Pokemon Card 151 (officially 強化拡張パック「ポケモンカード151(イチゴーイチ)」, an Enhanced Expansion Pack) released in Japan on June 16, 2023, built around the original 151-strong Kanto Pokedex. Our SV2A buying guide puts it directly: “Each pack retails at ¥290 (tax included) for 7 cards, and a booster box runs 20 packs — a retailer/media figure that puts the box’s theoretical retail MSRP around ¥5,800 (~$38); it isn’t stated on the official product page.”
The set totals 210 entries in the official card database. As the guide describes it: “Pokemon Card 151 (SV2a) is a 210-card set — a 165-card base checklist plus a 45-card secret-rarity run (18 AR, 16 SR, 8 SAR, 3 UR).”
The Damaged Box listing does not change any of this. The cosmetic damage described on the page concerns the outer box, and the page states that the cards inside are unaffected, so the pack format and the card pool above apply to a Damaged Box of SV2a in the same way as to the Sealed box.
The Chase Card Lineup
Our guide names the starter-trio Special Art Rares plus the set’s headline secret as the cards most collectors target: “The starter-trio Special Art Rares — Venusaur ex, Charizard ex, and Blastoise ex (#200–202) — and Mew ex, which is printed at three tiers (SR #195, SAR #205, and the set-topping UR #208). Erika’s Invitation SAR (#206) is also widely named as a premium pull.”
| Card | Number | Rarity |
|---|---|---|
| Mew ex | 208/165 | UR |
| Charizard ex | 201/165 | SAR |
| Mew ex | 205/165 | SAR |
| Venusaur ex | 200/165 | SAR |
| Blastoise ex | 202/165 | SAR |
| Erika’s Invitation | 206/165 | SAR |
| Giovanni’s Charisma | 207/165 | SAR |
| Charizard ex | 185/165 | SR |
| Mew ex | 195/165 | SR |
Every number above is confirmed against the official card database.

Raw Marketplace Asks, September 18, 2026
For the raw (ungraded) versions of two of these cards, the lowest asking price on SNKRDUNK on September 18, 2026 was ¥3,000 for Erika’s Invitation SR (196/165) and ¥52,000 for the Pikachu Master Ball mirror (025/165). Both figures are live seller asks, not sold prices.
The lowest asking price for a sealed Pokemon 151 box on SNKRDUNK on September 18, 2026 was ¥46,666 — a separate figure from our own Sealed listing price and not a claim about our stock. It comes from a different source and a different date than our October 7 store prices, so it is a reference point and not a like-for-like comparison.
