One Piece Card Game has released 23 times since July 2022. Seventeen of those are the numbered OP mainline sets everyone tracks — but four EB “Extra Booster” sets and two PRB “THE BEST” reprint sets are stitched into the same calendar, and none of them line up neatly with the OP numbering. Ask when OP-06 came out and the honest answer needs a second sentence, because EB-01 landed between OP-06 and OP-07 in real release order, not after OP-06 the way the set codes suggest.
This is the release order, sorted the only way that actually matters: by Japanese release date. Every set, every code, both regions’ dates, and the base card count where our own catalogue has it confirmed — in one table, then broken down era by era from the July 2022 launch to OP-17, the set that just released in Japan.
We’re a Tokyo-based exporter and ship Japanese sealed One Piece Card Game boxes worldwide, so where a set’s current box price is relevant we’ve pulled it straight from our own live listings.
As of 22 August 2026, the One Piece Card Game timeline runs to 23 releases: 17 numbered OP sets (OP-01 Romance Dawn, July 2022, through OP-17 The World’s Strongest Warriors, August 2026), plus 4 EB and 2 PRB sets interleaved by release date, not by code. Both the regular OP-17 box and the OP-17 Damaged Box are sold out at the time of this update — restock requests go through Quick Order. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD, approximate.
- EB-05 Extra Booster ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2 releases in Japan on Saturday, October 31, 2026 on the official Japanese product page (¥240 per pack), as of October 6, 2026; the English page lists October 30, 2026 at USD $4.99 per pack. The official Japanese page prints the contents as 全75種+2種 (75 types plus 2); see the official rarity breakdown and how the Extra Booster boxes compare.
- OP-18 is dated Saturday, November 21, 2026 on the official Japanese product page (English page: November 20, 2026), as of October 6, 2026; see which Japanese box to pick, EB-05 or OP-18.
- OP-17’s English edition released on 28 August 2026, its official card list is published (base numbering runs to OP17-119), and box prices below were re-read against our live listings on October 6, 2026.
JP release dates are Bandai-official (onepiece-cardgame.com); EN release dates are from Limitless TCG’s official card database. Box prices in later sections are a snapshot of our own live listings as of October 6, 2026 — prices and stock move, so treat them as a dated reference and check the product page for the current figure.
The Complete Timeline: Every Set, JP Release Order
Sorted by actual Japanese release date, not by set-code family — this is why EB and PRB rows sit between OP sets rather than trailing at the end. Click any set name for its full card list.

| OP-17 The World’s Strongest Warriors | 世界最強の戦士 | 22 Aug 2026 | 28th Aug 2026 | 119 |
Two things stand out reading down the list. First, base card counts sat in a tight 119–123 band for most of the mainline’s life, then jumped — OP-14 at 151 and OP-15 at 149 are visibly larger than every OP set before them. Second, the JP-to-EN localisation gap has shrunk drastically: OP-01 took roughly four and a half months to reach its English release, while OP-17’s English version landed just six days after Japan, on 28 August 2026.
2022: The Launch Era

The game opened with just two sets in its first calendar year. OP-01 Romance Dawn released in Japan on 22 July 2022 with 121 base cards, followed by OP-02 Paramount War on 4 November 2022, also at 121 base cards — a roughly three-and-a-half-month gap between the first two mainline releases. Both sets took months longer to reach English: OP-01’s EN release was 2nd December 2022, OP-02’s was 10th March 2023, meaning OP-02 was already out in Japan before OP-01 had even launched internationally.
OP-01 is now about four years old, and it still opens the timeline above.
2023: Four Numbered Sets, One Full Year

2023 settled the release rhythm into a quarterly cadence: OP-03 Pillars of Strength (11 Feb, 123 base cards), OP-04 Kingdoms of Intrigue (27 May, 119), OP-05 Awakening of the New Era (26 Aug, 119), and OP-06 Wings of the Captain (25 Nov, 119) — four numbered sets landing roughly every three months. OP-06’s English release didn’t follow until 15 March 2024, which is why it shows up in next year’s EN calendar even though its JP release belongs to 2023.
For OP-05, the Damaged Box condition of the set is listed at ¥54,668 (~$355).
2024: The EB Line and THE BEST Begin

2024 is where the timeline stops being just numbered OP sets. EB-01 Memorial Collection opened the Extra Booster line on 27 January at a much smaller 61 base cards, slotting in ahead of OP-07 500 Years in the Future (24 Feb, 119) and OP-08 Two Legends (25 May, 119). Then on 27 July, PRB-01 One Piece Card THE BEST arrived — the first Premium Booster reprint set, at 104 base cards — before the year closed with OP-09 Emperors in the New World (31 Aug, 119) and OP-10 Royal Blood (30 Nov, 119). Six releases in one calendar year, the busiest year to that point.
The regular PRB-01 booster box is sold out at the time of this update — the card-list link above still works, and restock requests go through Quick Order.
On price, this era holds the entry-level end of the ladder: OP-08’s Damaged Box listing is ¥9,257 (~$60), and OP-10’s Damaged Box sits at ¥10,120 (~$66) — both well under the OP-05 Damaged Box price in the 2023 section above.
2025: The Busiest Year — Seven Releases

2025 is the densest year on the whole timeline: EB-02 Anime 25th Collection (25 Jan, 61 base cards) opened it, followed by OP-11 A Fist of Divine Speed (1 Mar, 119), OP-12 Legacy of the Master (31 May, 119), PRB-02 One Piece Card THE BEST Vol.2 (26 Jul, 158 — the largest PRB set to date), OP-13 Carrying on His Will (23 Aug, 120), EB-03 One Piece Heroines Edition (25 Oct, 62), and OP-14 The Azure Sea’s Seven (22 Nov, 151). Seven releases in twelve months — more than double the launch year’s pace.
Budget-conscious buyers have two Damaged Box options from this era: OP-11 at ¥31,628 (~$205) and OP-12 at ¥13,977 (~$91).
2026: EB-04 Through OP-17
The current year, four releases in so far. EB-04 Egghead Crisis opened it on 31 January — our data has no confirmed English release date for this set, and its base card count isn’t catalogued yet, so treat both as open until confirmed. OP-15 Adventure on Kami’s Island followed on 28 February at 149 base cards, then OP-16 The Time of Battle on 30 May at 119, and most recently OP-17 The World’s Strongest Warriors on 22 August — the set that’s currently topping this timeline.
OP-16 is the second-newest set on the timeline; the OP-16 booster box is sold out at the time of this update, and restock requests go through Quick Order.
OP-17 -The World’s Strongest Warriors-: The Newest Set

OP-17 The World’s Strongest Warriors released in Japan on 22 August 2026, with the English version following on 28 August — a six-day gap, the shortest JP-to-EN turnaround anywhere on this timeline. Compare that to OP-01’s roughly four-and-a-half-month wait back in 2022, and the localisation pipeline has clearly sped up over four years. OP-17’s official card list is now published: base numbering runs OP17-001 through OP17-119, and Bandai’s product page lists 131+4 card types in total once SP reprints and parallels are counted — see the OP-17 release date and card list guide for the card-by-card breakdown.

Frequently Asked Questions
What order do the One Piece Card Game sets release in?
By Japanese release date: OP-01 to OP-06 (Jul 2022 to Nov 2023), EB-01 (Jan 2024), OP-07 and OP-08, PRB-01 (Jul 2024), OP-09 and OP-10, EB-02 (Jan 2025), OP-11 and OP-12, PRB-02 (Jul 2025), OP-13, EB-03 (Oct 2025), OP-14, EB-04 (Jan 2026), then OP-15, OP-16 and OP-17 (Feb to Aug 2026).
How many One Piece Card Game sets are there in total?
23 as of OP-17’s release in August 2026: 17 numbered OP sets, 4 EB Extra Booster sets, and 2 PRB THE BEST reprint sets. The count does not yet include EB-05, dated Saturday, October 31, 2026 on the official Japanese product page, or OP-18, dated Saturday, November 21, 2026.
What is the newest One Piece Card Game set?
OP-17 The World’s Strongest Warriors, released in Japan on 22 August 2026 and in English on 28 August 2026. Its official card list is now published: base numbering runs OP17-001 to OP17-119, with 131+4 card types in total. OP-18 is dated Saturday, November 21, 2026 in Japan.
Where do the EB and PRB sets fit into the release order?
They release interleaved with the numbered OP sets by actual date, not as a separate track afterward. For example, EB-01 released between OP-06 and OP-07, and PRB-01 released between OP-08 and OP-09 — the master table above sorts everything by real Japanese release date to show this clearly.
What was the first One Piece Card Game set?
OP-01 Romance Dawn, released in Japan on 22 July 2022 and in English on 2nd December 2022, with 121 base cards. It was followed by OP-02 Paramount War on 4 November 2022, also at 121 base cards, and it remains the starting point of the timeline above.
Has the gap between Japanese and English releases changed over time?
Yes, significantly. OP-01 took roughly four and a half months to reach its English release in 2022. OP-17, the newest set, had only a six-day gap between its Japanese and English releases in August 2026. For OP-18, the official English page dates the release one day before the Japanese page: November 20 against November 21, 2026.
